Factory Reset: Back to a Clean Slate

July 10, 2024 by Michael Czeiszperger

If something ever seems stuck (a wrong network saved, or the box acting strange), a factory reset is the first thing to try. It clears the saved WiFi credentials and settings so you can set the sign up fresh.

How to do it

Hold the UP button while pressing RESET. The box wipes its saved WiFi and settings and reboots into first-time setup, right back where it started.

When pressing the buttons, you’ll feel a little give as the switch depresses. A small screwdriver is easier. The round end of a pen works too, but it can slide off the switch.

Heads up: a factory reset erases your saved WiFi and park selections. You’ll reconnect WiFi and re-pick your parks afterward. It only takes a minute. See Flash & Set Up.
